One in every eight women – and one in every 883 men – will develop breast cancer at some point over the course of their lifetime. Not only that, but the rate of increase in breast cancer diagnoses in the U.S. has more than quadrupled between 1970 and today.

Fortunately, with early detection and a variety of surgical and nonsurgical treatment options, breast cancer can be arrested, diminished or cured.
