Dr. Alan Perlmutter is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist and considered one of South Florida’s Top Cancer Doctors.

Dr. Perlmutter received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.
A native of Canada, he completed his residency training in radiation oncology at the world-renowned Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Ontario under the tutelage and mentorship of many founders in the field of radiation.
Dr. Perlmutter also spent 3 years as a clinical associate in medical oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital.
This combination of radiation and medical experience has given Dr. Perlmutter unique insight into the biology and patterns of cancer spread, as well as perspective on the correct use of multiple oncology treatment modalities to cure and manage pain associated with cancer.
Prior to moving to Florida more than 10 years ago, Dr. Perlmutter practiced at University of Connecticut’s affiliated hospitals, where he created and implemented the state’s first radioactive seed prostate implant program and performed over one hundred such implants.
He is Board Certified in the U.S. and Canada.
